Best pizza I've had in San Diego and I've lived here for 21 years. This place is so mom and pop shop; it's decorated in an extremely unique way and the workers are super sweet and helpful. Will be coming back!!! Our cheese pizza with onion and pesto was delectable

The sauce is delicious. Not too sweet, just perfect. Greasy, delicious, wonderful pizza. Service was quick, food was good, CASH ONLY but aside from that no complaints. Belly is happy and heart is full. Good pizza.

Wowzers!!! Superb New York Pie. If you want them thick, you're in the wrong place. Thin, cheesy, and a crust to die for. There is no parking so just know that. If you pre order a whole pie to go, pick it up at the outside window as the Lobby is small. They do a lot of slices, too. We like the pesto pizza and yummy is what it is. Staff is great and the food is superb. If you show up during a busy time and didn't call ahead be prepared to wait about 30 minutes for your pie. Sooooo worth it.

This is a review coming from both me and my boyfriend, a person who reside in new york all his life who actually found this place by pure accident of looking around, and coming from bronx. the pizza may have been one of the best thin crust pizza he's ever had in NY and/or LA combined which says a lot. He been telling me its hard to eat pizza after moving here because there isn't any place that is good enough to compete. funny enough, that is - until today or until he found this place and ordered a slice. (I appreciated the pizza, although for me, I am a deep crust lover, so rating is coming from a slightly different place.) the owner is from manchester, which is where my boyfriend grew up. we were served the freshest pizza as a promise for being from the same area. and sure enough the pizza was fresh, hot, crunchy and flavorful. we literally came from eating a full meal, and wanted to check out the place purely for pizza adventure, and the whole experience was mindblowing. the interior is pretty cute, have the NY subway arts along with the decors and awards/newspaper mention he have had. would come back again next time when we are in SD. which a busy hole in the wall!

Delicious! We were definitely feeling the vibe, as soon as you finished ordering walking into the dining area. They were helpful.

I'm a big Bronx Pizza fan. You really can't get a better deal for a solid slice of thin crust pizza. The store is compact when you enter. After you order your slices, there is a second spacious room with plenty of seating and fun subway themed decor. The service is so quick, and it's fun to watch your pizza being made right in front of you. The employees are really skilled, tossing around dough with ease. Every slice of pizza I've tried here has been delicious. I really appreciate how thin yet crispy the crust is. My personal favorite is the Whitestone, with mozzarella, ricotta, garlic, and parmesan. It is the perfect savory slice. The Porko is great for meat lovers, containing pepperoni, sausage, and meatball. The Tomato Basil has plenty of zesty tomato slices and fresh basil. The pizza is always served piping hot. Make sure to bring cash since the store is cash only. Bronx Pizza is my go-to spot for solid pizza, and I'd recommend checking this spot out!

If you haven't tried Bronx Pizza yet, you need to!!! Easily, Bronx Pizza has some of the best pizza I've ever had! My husband and I were visiting La Jolla for a few days. Looking on Yelp's best pizza places for 2023, we had to try Bronx Pizza as it was on the top 10 list! Bronx Pizza is located in San Diego, next to Mission Bay. We didn't see any parking lot for the restaurant, so we ended up parking at a Meter and paid for the parking spot since we had arrived around 5:50. The Metered parking lot was in effect from 8:00 A.M - 6:00 P.M. When we walked up to the restaurant, we noticed several customers standing outside, waiting for their order. The restaurant had a window that was a go-to, pick-up only where the team members for Bronx Pizza would provide the pizza outside the window! It was a pretty cool concept. Inside the restaurant, you'll notice two table seating areas and then the register where to place your order. Bronx Pizza offers a few different options such as pizza pies, calzones, and pizza slices! Some of their Specialty Pizzas include the following Bronx Deluxe ($31.00): Pepperoni, Sausage, Onions, Mushrooms, Green Peppers, Black Olives, Garlic Vegetarian ($30.00) Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Onions, Green Peppers, Black Olives, Garlic Porko ($28.00): Pepperoni, Sausage, Meatball and so much more! The slices of pizza that they had available at the time included Cheese, Pepperoni, Ricotta, mushroom, spinach, sausage and pepperoni. We wanted to try a few different slices, so we decided to go with their $9.00 special, 2 slices with a drink. Bronx Pizza only accepts cash. There is a ATM inside the restaurant though. We had ordered the following pizza slices Cheese Pepperoni Ricotta Mushroom and Pepperoni We were surprised that inside the restaurant there were two additional areas setup for seating! We ended up going to a booth seat that had a lot of vintage décor and referenced a lot of the boxing! After about 10 minutes, the slices were warmed up and the pizza slices were called. We picked up our order and ate the pizza slices inside. On the table included additional seasonings like parmesan, garlic, oregano and red pepper flakes. My favorite slice was the Ricotta. You could taste the ricotta cheese and the garlic! There was so much of it on the slice. It was scrumptious! The cheese slices was amazing too! It was oily and the cheese was oozing all over the plate! It was so good! The bottom of the pizza wasn't burnt at all! It was perfectly warmed up. The price was great for just 4 slices and 2 drinks, $18.00! If this restaurant was in Las Vegas, I would be going to it quite often!

I've been coming here my whole life and it's been 10/10 consistently. If you like a thin NY style pie, you will love Bronx. Their sauce is really good. I even like their reheated slices a little bit better than whole pies because they get crispier. Service and vibe is as casual as you can get. We were quoted 20 minutes today for the pie and it was hot and ready when we got there.

My husband and I stopped in and each got the 2 slice special dine in and a Bronx Deluxe whole pie to go. The slices were thin crust and had the most amazingly complimentary sauce (it was just the perfect amount and did not have the acidity that a lot of tomato sauce often do). I really enjoyed the white sauce pizza as well. The place was incredibly busy and there wasn't any table service- you order from the counter but that was perfectly fine with us. I did really like the decor in the seating area which was covered though semi-outdoors and had a New York subway theme. One thing to keep in mind- this is place CASH ONLY (although they do have an atm if you're willing to pay the convenience fee)
